Functions of varistor products:
Piezoresistive characteristics is to be added on it when the voltage is lower than its threshold "UN", current flow through the tiny, equivalent to a closing valves, when the voltage is more than the UN, its resistance decreases, which makes the flow through the current surge in, little change and the impact on the rest of the circuit, so as to reduce the influence of overvoltage is sensitive to subsequent circuit. By using this function, the abnormal overvoltage which often occurs in the circuit can be suppressed and the circuit can be protected from the damage of overvoltage.
